Tackling the TBR | Week 21 & 22 | Jun 1 - Jun 14, 2025

Here we go!

This is year SIX of Tackling the TBR. When I started this mess  I was well over 5,000 books on the TBR, so to be where I am now is pretty incredible.

I will post on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and last day of the month.

Previous Week's TBR Total: 1,922

On My 'Currently Reading' Shelf
(This does not mean I am reading all of these at once. As soon as I get a book from the library, NetGalley, a publisher/author/marketer, or - for not much longer - Prime, I put in on my 'Currently Reading' shelf. Yes, I know I have a problem. No, I don't want to do anything about it.)

Books Read

Books DNFed:

Books Added to TBR: 0

Books Removed from TBR: 1

Duplicates Removed: 0

New TBR Total: 1,894

Happy Reading!
Sarah

    1. I really liked it. I accidentally read Force of Nature (book 2) first a couple years ago. For book club we read The Dry and I loved it. After finishing it, I immediately checked out book 3. I like that it is investigating without being so steeped in the procedural aspects of policing. I really like the series a lot.

    2. Cool. I'll advance it up my 'read' list. I have a few with similar sounding titles, so might throw a mix-read together... [muses]

Oh, and reading a book about Forensics ATM that I think you'll like.......

    3. I hope she continues the series but with the way book three ended, I'm not sure that will happen.

What's the forensics book? it might already be on my TBR!

    1. I loved A Killing Cold, but the other two were just okay. Worley obviously was a trip because it is bananas, but I was disappointed in Parents Weekend.

    2. Yeah, I've read two books by Finlay now, and I think his writing just isn't for me.

    1. This series is the first I have read of her. I accientally read book 2 first a couple years ago - Force of Nature. But my book club picked The Dry, which I loved so much that I immediately got book 3 (Exiles).
