Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc. Never has my addiction been more obvious than when I am now keeping track of every single book I acquire.
Library Treasures
Half Price Books
What did you add to your stash this week?
Happy Reading!
Sarah
I like the half price books you got. They're definitely titles I'd enjoy too!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is so easy to spend a lot of time and money at that store!
DeleteCutting back, eh? Good for you [grin]. I'm interested in what you think of the Nessie book....

Not SO many expected next week.... [lol]
Oh don't you worry - when the Scotty exhibit opens at the Durham like I talked about previously, I will have a HUUUUUUGE book haul (probably) because the gift shop always gets a great variety to go with the exhibit.
DeleteI am trying to not look at your non-fiction list but I can't help myself. Nice haul!
I picked up most of the non-fiction from my fave end-of-run book shop in 'town'. I try not to go there too often - both to let new stock accumulate and to not need to buy a bigger house....
DeleteI know how that feels!!! I try to stay away from Half Price books because it is so easy to spend a lot of money, when you justify it by lower prices. I still end up spending way too much - and space for all the books is an issue for us also, lol
Delete4 books in this week. All library copies, one recommended by a friend, two for reading groups and a translated novel about Syria!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice when it is a good haul, but costs no money? Thank God for libraries, otherwise Eleanor and I would be living in a cardboard box. Or, a tiny house made of books.
DeleteNessie!!! I love the Loch Ness monster.
ReplyDeleteSame! I think I've told you about the cruise we went on on Loch Ness, right?? So cool.
DeleteI have a book splurge to own up to this week but I'm dreading putting it up!
