Safe, whew! The Kennedy Curse is already on my TBR - though it is actually a different book altogether, I discovered, when I went to double-check. I can't stomach much James Patterson, the one I have on my TBR is by Edward Klein.

ReplyDeleteI liked it quite a bit. The earlier histories were much more interesting to me, but the last chapters were dedicated to Golda Meir and Margaret Thatcher.

DeleteI think 'queen' was more in reference to being a great ruler in the general sense even if they did not actually hold the title of Queen. Most of the women documented were actual queens. Like, when I say I am the Queen of Procrastinating"...which I am, for sure. I am procrastinating right now on reviews to talk to you and Judy instead! lol

ReplyDeleteI really liked the earlier chapters, women before the 1600s. I just can't get into more modern history. The later chapters were dedicated to women of that later era, Golda Meir and Margaret Thatcher.
