Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.
Prime First Reads
None. They all sound dreadfully boring this month.

I *was* going to say: "Oh, Mrs Westaway, I have that too...", then I noticed that you'd DNF'd it! [lol]
ReplyDeleteWith Christmas & New Year over with its getting back to normal in case Cyberkitten, so.... 5 books this week. Mostly fiction so little to 'worry' about.

Witchfinders - A Seventeenth-Century English Tragedy by Malcolm Gaskill
Well, HA! Witchfinders is already on my TBR, lol.
DeleteI need to try Tudor as well *sigh*
ReplyDeleteMore reading time would be nice :)
Wouldn't it be? Her books are kind of hit and miss for me. I loved The Burning Girls, though, start there!
DeleteI hope you enjoy all of these. I also got a huge stack from the library this week. Happy reading! https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2022/01/stacking-shelves-5sunday-post-2.html
ReplyDeleteI always think I am going to hold off on the library for a while. It never happens.
DeleteThose library treasures really are treasures. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteMost of them were very wonderful!
DeleteYour library sure gave you a few treasures this week! I hope you enjoy all your treasures.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Elza Reads
I enjoyed quite a few, thank you!
DeleteI've got The Golden Couple set to read later this year too. Have you read any of their other books? The Wife Between us is really fun! I'm also thrilled to see you are diving more into C.J. Tudor.
ReplyDeleteI read Wife and liked it. I think I liked Golden better. I LOVED The Burning Girls. Chalk Man was not my fave, but I also liked Hiding. Have we discussed Riley Sager yet? Do I know about him because of you? I can't remember at this point but if you have not read him yet, you should.
DeleteI'm so glad I'm not the only one that thought the Prime reads this month were awful!
ReplyDeleteRIGHT?!?! Absolute nonsense.
