Teen Killers I added thanks to your rec. Started One of the Girls last nght.
ReplyDeleteYay!! I can't remember, have you read the first two?
DeleteI haven't!
DeleteYou definitely need to read them in order, or the third book will make no sense. I mean, you do kind of get the backstory, but it just would not be the same. But I think you will like them a lot so it should not take you too long.
DeleteHope you enjoy these books.
ReplyDeleteI loved Teen Killers, it is book three in a trilogy but I am reeeeeally hoping the author at least does a spin-off so we can keep hanging out with these characters.
DeleteJust a mere TWO from me this week - one of each - but I think you're safe again!
ReplyDeleteFiction:
Act of Oblivion by Robert Harris
Non-Fiction:
The Ship Asunder - A Maritime History of Britain in Eleven Vessels by Tom Nancollas
Whew, yes! Thanks for getting books I am not interested in! lol
DeleteI guess we'll see how long *that* lasts... [lol]
DeleteI mean, I feel like it won't last but I will enjoy it while it does, lol
DeleteI got a copy of Hawkins's latest book too, but I don't know that I'm ready to read a 2024 release just yet haha.
ReplyDeleteSaaaaaame! But it was cool to get the invite from a big publisher. I have so many other ARCs and author gifts right now, so I won't be getting to it for a while yet.
DeleteAgreed. I still get a little thrill every time I get a book from them.
DeleteRight?! I'll always consider books from all presses big and small, and indie and self-publish too. But there's something a little extra special when a big pub recognizes you and your interests.
