Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc

Oh, good luck with the cholecystectomy recovery! I had mine removed a few years ago, fortunately via the keyhole surgery, and it amazed me how quickly I recovered after the first few days were miserable.
ReplyDeleteThree weeks on I am pretty much almost back to normal. My push/pull/lift weight restrictions end on Sunday, but I will still wait a bit until I get back to lifting actual weights.
DeleteOh, that's *definitely* already on my Wish List! [grin]
ReplyDeleteJust two non-fiction for me this week. One has literally just arrived!!
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare - The Mavericks Who Plotted Hitler's Downfall Giving Birth to Modern Day Black Ops by Damien Lewis
Our Own Worst Enemy - The Assault From Within on Modern Democracy by Tom Nichols
It was a great read. I didn't know that Cooper was a Vanderbilt until I read his book on the family. I hope he writes about other Old Money families. There are so many more to explore!!
DeleteGet well soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the books that you can.
