Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc. Never has my addiction been more obvious than when I am now keeping track of every single book I acquire.

Here's my not-so-secret secret, in case this week's haul caught you off-guard. I LOVED Jersey Shore. Like, obsessively LOVED IT. My friends and I were obnoxious about it every week and I could always count on several texts to arrive (and I sent many also) just as the show was about to start, proclaiming, "CABS ARE HEEEEEERE!" We would bombard each other's Facebook walls and "shout" random catchphrases at one another via Facebook, texts, and actual phone calls throughout. I was bummed when the original show ended, though spin-offs abounded, but it was time. How sad that future generations would never understand the meaning of "Raaaaahn Staaaaahp!"
THEN Jersey Shore Family Vacation started, and all was right in the world again. It is definitely not the same as those early seasons (mainly 1 and 2) when it was all new and like, "Holy shit, wtf is going on?" but there is something comforting about seeing my faves being grown-ups and not so grown-up at the same time.
I also have a super cool story to tell about Jeremy Wade, the host of River Monsters, when I read the book and write the review. He is pretty much one of the coolest guys ever.
What did you add to your stash this week?
Happy Reading!
