I use Goodreads to scan them onto my TBR. But sometimes it is even worse when they are cheap - I end up spending waaaaay more because I haul away half of Half Price Books every time I go in there!
Too late....... As it's March my self imposed on-line book buying book pause is over.... and it's my birthday next month which usually means I go book-buying wild... [lol]
Well, debit card for me actually - I don't actually use my credit card, but the sentiment is the same. But I am also working through Dave Ramsay's Total Money Makeover, so hopefully in a few months I will have lots to spend on books and no stupid debt!
This is why I make myself take pictures of the books and only buy them if I still want them a few months later.
ReplyDeleteUnless they're ridiculously cheap, anyway!

ReplyDeleteGo crazy, friend. Life is too short to not surround yourself with something you love, and WE LOVE BOOKS!
DeleteThankfully I don't have a credit card so I can only spend what I have in my pocket!

DeleteI love this! Definitely very true!
ReplyDeleteI feel like it should probably be an official medical diagnosis, so we can just keep buying more books.
