*I went to the library to get the Nazi/Serial Killer book and that was supposed to be all. The others jumped into my arms before I could leave.

I added 7 to my stash, 6 from the library (3 are picture books) and I purchased in hardcover from an Indie bookstore The Testaments by Margaret Atwood. I will finish reading that today.

I honestly know nothing else about it - and the title is super weird, but I saw Bess in the sub title and had to have it. I will hopefully be reading it this weekend. She's thoroughly and endlessly fascinating.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would, and the voice seemed authentic (as in she did much of the writing, not just passing it off to a ghost writer). And I love the polish, it is pretty much the best and I am absolutely in love with the fall collection, Scotland <3
DeleteVia interlibrary loan, I received Spark, on the brain and exercise. Wisdom of the Renaissance sounds interesting!
