Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Sarah
It looks like you've had quite a productive week of additions. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dorothy!
DeleteAll fiction from me this week:
ReplyDeleteThe Beekeeper of Aleppo by Christy Lefteri
Tidelands by Philippa Gregory
The Women at Hitler's Table by Rosella Postorino
No One Home by Tim Weaver
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl
Mary Poppins by P L Travers
Thank goodness, I don't need any more non-fiction ideas. Also, WHY WHY WHY Philippa Gregory??!!
DeleteLOL! - I KNEW you'd pick up on that..... [grin]
DeleteFeb is one of my alternate 'no books bought online' months so there's a lot less non-fiction being bought. That'll ramp up a bit in March and then explode in April as I retire/celebrate and it's my 60th birthday in April so..... CRAZY time!
OF COURSE I WOULD, because she is the wooooorst!!! lol
DeleteI better kick it into high gear removing books from my TBR then, because I have a feeling that once you have retired, it will increase exponentially!
Aww Momma rules, obviously. :) Love the look of Mean Girls and Mystery Queen.
ReplyDeleteI am super psyched about the Aggie Morton series. An imaging of Agatha Christie's life?! Yes please!!
DeleteAnd yes, Momma always comes through with the gift cards, Amazon for me and Chipotle for Eleanor. But she makes us share them, lol
Nice reads!
ReplyDeleteOkay. To the library before work. Hopefully the have the first in the McManus series so I can try again.
Try again?! Did you not like it the first time? I hope they have it and that you love it!!
Delete4 books in for me this week:
ReplyDeleteCantoras by Carolina de Robertis
The End of Mr Y by Scarlett Thomas. Both of these are library books by authors I love.
Four Novels by Marguerite Duras, bought used from Abe Books. I added to my TBR by deciding to read all of her books.
Barn 8 by Deb Olin Unferth, just came in the mail from my Nervous Breakdown Book Club subscription and I am excited because I have heard good things about the author.
Enjoy your new treasures!
DeleteNice haul! I love the variety in the books you added this week. Most of these are new to me but I do have One of Us is Next on my wishlist. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole - and you must read it ASAP! I can't stop rereading bits and pieces in between other books. I love One of Us is Lying most, but Next is reeeeally good.
