Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Happy Reading!
Sarah
Only two for me too... Both non-fiction:
ReplyDeleteThe Book of Humans - A Brief History of Culture, Sex, War and the Evolution of Us by Adam Rutherford
Alien and Philosophy - I Infest, Therefore I Am edited by Jeffrey Ewing and Kevin S Decker
I am vaguely interested in The Book of Humans. You may keep Alien!
DeleteI thought you'd be safe this time! [grin] The 'Alien' book is part of a pop-culture philosophy series I've been reading & enjoying lots. The 'Humans' book is part of my long running focus on Evolution & Genetics which is a thing for me. I'll try for a "low Sarah interest" factor for next week too... [lol]
DeleteI think I remember you talking about that series before, it sounds familiar. Thanks for not buying books that I will want, lol.
DeleteThe Couple Next Door looks suitably ominous.
ReplyDeleteI liked it well enough; a suitable way to pass a couple hours. A bit twisty, which we like. I read two more this weekend and I think still have one or two more coming from the library. Will probably do mini reviews for them. You might like them, though they're more domestic thrillers and adult-y than our lovely Bayview darlings.
DeleteHave you watched any of One of Us Is Lying yet???
DeleteNo, we don't have streaming service. I am hoping someone will bootleg put it on YouTube at some point, lol. I'm also nervous because THAT GUY IS NOT NATE!
DeleteI know, he doesn't look like Nate to me either. I went to watch the first episode last night (apparently they let you watch the first three free) but they wanted me to make an account and I was like fuck that noise.
DeleteUgh. He's just not Nate. And no one can convince me otherwise.
DeleteOooh! What my Bones Know sounds like an interesting read! Great haul!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Stacking the Shelves!

It was not on my radar at all, so I am excited that I was contacted to give it a try!
