    1. LOL! That's good to know, because what if I end up hating it, and he did write it?!

  2. Just one of each from me this week from my local charity shop - plus the 80 mini-classic box set which I won't list here! [grin]

    Fiction:

The Hog's Back Mystery by Freeman Wills Crofts

    Non-Fiction:

Children of England - The Heirs of King Henry VIII 1547-1558 by Alison Weir

    1. Back when I was first getting into reading again, I read so much Alison Weir. I wonder if I would look at her books differently now, given all I have learned? I rated this book four stars in 2017. But who has time to re-read books to see if their opinions have changed??!!

    2. I did have your imagine voice in my head when I picked up the Weir saying: Really? You *really* want THIS? Agreed on re-reading. You've got to have a GOOD reason and, more importantly, TIME to do that. With SO many other books who has the TIME?

Oh, the Weir book has ZERO footnotes and ZERO end notes..... [lol] First thing I checked [snigger]

    3. LOL! I'm glad that you know I will ALWAYS comment on your poor choices when you pick up a Weir or Gregory book.

Good call checking the footnotes and end notes - SHE NEVER USES THEM. Like, be so for real lady, you still have to cite sources even if you've been writing non-fiction for decades.
