Cool. I LOVE free stuff - especially BOOKS!
ReplyDeleteRight?? And I was excited to see that I had some of these on my TBR already. What a find!!
Delete'Only' Four for me this week... Nothing much that you'd be interested in though... [lol]
ReplyDeleteFiction:
The July Girls by Phoebe Locke
Non-Fiction:
The Day the Nazis Came - My Childhood journey from Britain to a German Concentration camp by Stephen R Matthews
How Was It For You? - Women, Sex, Love and Power in the 1960's by Virginia Nicholson
Ladies and Gentlemen, The Bronx is Burning - 1977, Baseball, Politics, and the Battle for the Soul of a City by Jonathan Mahler
Ha, right, because the Holocaust, the 60s, and NYC are topics I don't care about AT ALL! :P thanks a lot!
DeleteNone for me this week. I am working on the stacks I already have!
ReplyDeleteWell done! I wish I could say that. Some day...
DeleteThanks for the tip-off about the Cambridge University Press books! I think I'd heard about that and then forgot to check it out. :) Should be a fascinating haul, if not exactly comfy to read.
ReplyDeleteMy STS/weekly roundup post.
Exactly, I was also excited to see that some of the books were already on my TBR. Definitely not comfortable, but necessary. I am also doing daily posts from Layla F. Saad's 'Me and White Supremacy' if you are interested, and I started a BlackLivesMatter reading list also. Lots of work to do, miles to go. But it will be worth it!
DeleteI’ll make sure to check out Cambridge Press, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNo problem! I hope many others take advantage of the great deal too. So many great titles.
DeleteOoh good stuff! I love historical looks at the westward expansion, and Riot Grrrl's...
ReplyDeleteNormally I am all about Riot Grrrls too! But it wasn't catching my attention for long. Maybe I am just not in the right frame of mind for it right now.
