Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's topic has to do with any kind of geographical terms you've come across in a title. I am only including books I have read, and all books were rated three or more stars. As usual, I have more than ten because I do what I want. Here we go!
Have you read any of these? Let me know!
Happy Reading
Sarah
Great selections this week. The only one I've read is Close to Shore which I really enjoyed—as morbid as it is.
ReplyDeleteI get what you mean though - obviously not enjoying the maiming and killing by the shark, but it was a good read!
DeleteI had a very difficult time with this task this week. Apparently I don't read many books with geographical terms. My list this week
ReplyDeleteNon-fiction is way easier for topics like this, which is almost all that I read.
DeleteGreat list with so many interesting titles. Tidepool looks really good to me.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT: https://herseriallife.com/top-10-books-with-geographical-terms-in-title/
Have a great week 😀
Tidepoll was SO GOOD. I could not put it down. here is my review if you are interested: https://allthebookblognamesaretaken.blogspot.com/2022/05/book-review-tidepool.html
DeleteA good looking list! I love the look of The Curse of Oak Island, what a cover!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

It was a fun read! I so want them to find something on the island but I doubt they ever will. Whatever treasure might have been buried there has long since been moved, I think,
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but I love that so many fit the bill of books with geographical terms!
ReplyDeleteThank you, and thanks for coming by!
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these books, but that's not usual for me with a TTT.

I am almost always the loner with all my non-fiction treasures sitting in the corner by myself; I never have anything in common with most who participate either!
DeleteYou have a lot of "water-themed" geographical terms, like I do, but two completely different lists! I love how many books are out there. My TTT: https://www.literacious.com/2022/09/13/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-geographical-terms-in-the-title/
ReplyDeleteYes!! I am really interested to see yours and how different our lists are even with our matching key words.
DeleteThe cover of "Bad Blood" caught my eye. I watched a documentary about Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes. What a disaster.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my Top Ten Tuesday list.
It was a fantastic read! Such a messed up story.
DeleteThat's quite a varied list. I haven't read any of them.
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun one to create!
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but a few does caught my eye. Lovely selection you have today!
ReplyDeleteElza Reads
Thank you! Hope you have time for whichever books caught your eye!
DeleteGreat post. Here is my post-https://paigesofnovels.wordpress.com/2022/09/13/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-geographical-locations-or-locations-in-the-title/.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteDamnation Island sounds really good.

It's easily one of my favorite books on that time period ever. Such an informative and in-depth book. Very moving as well.
DeleteTidepool made the list! I like Ruthless Tide and Oak Island too. I'm sensing a theme here...
ReplyDeleteTidepool will forever and always make any and every list it can!!!
DeleteThat last line still gets me EVERY time
DeleteOMG YAAAAAAAAAS. Such a good book. So, so good.
DeleteAnother successful TTT - and a great list of titles I don't know except Hidden Valley..... here's me:

Hidden Valley is such a heartbreaking book! Thanks for coming by.
DeleteWe have one in common on our lists today...I won't tell you which, you'll have to pop over to my blog to see it, LOL! https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2022/09/top-ten-tuesday-authors-that-gravitate.html
ReplyDeleteI bet I know which one!!! :)
DeleteTidepool looks like a good read.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
It's so good, very Lovecraftian. Normally I don't really care either way about Lovecraft but that's truly the best way to decsribe it. Here is my review if you're interested - https://allthebookblognamesaretaken.blogspot.com/2022/05/book-review-tidepool.html
DeleteOH, I have Hidden Valley Road on one of my TBR shelves. Great list!
ReplyDeleteIt was such a tough read, but a good one. Hope you like it!
DeleteWow you came up with a lot! I switched the topic this week because I just couldn't come up with enough titles of books I'd read that fit the theme.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2022/09/13/top-ten-tuesday-385/
I had a few in mind, but I definitely had to use the search feature on my Goodreads shelves to find enough.
DeleteNice list! I've never been to Chaco Canyon, but my husband says it's amazing.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I want to go SO badly!! I am jealous that your husband has been. It's a bucket list item for me.
DeleteOooh there's a Curse Of Oak Island book? I may need that - although admittedly I have only watched the first two seasons of the show so far, but... still ooh.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT is at https://www.bibliollama.uk/2022/09/13/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-geographical-terms-in-the-title/
I have not even seen a whole season, just a hodge podge of episodes. I like it, and the book is good. I want them to find something after all this time, but I think whatever was buried there at one time has long since been moved.
DeleteHaven't seen any of these before. I Met Her on the Mountain sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good book, but so sad.
