I am featuring books in the order that they were added to my Goodreads To-Read shelf, so sometimes there will be a couple weeks in a row of books on the same topic.
Neglected Book of the Week
Why did I add The Last Days of Henry VIII to my TBR?
Because I like Hutchinson's books and find his takes on his subject interesting. I have read so much about the Tudors over the years that I really like finding these books that focus on a specific section of his rule, or a specific topic.
Have you read this book, or is it somewhere on your TBR? If you've read it, would you recommend it to others?
Happy Reading!
Sarah
Interesting
ReplyDeleteSo many books about the Tudors still sitting on my TBR!
DeleteI'm *aiming* to read at least 1-2 Tudor books this year. It's been a while....
DeleteI have 50 recs for you.
DeleteI've not read anything on the Tudors for a while. I do like reading about specifics when the general topic is one I've canvassed a lot with previous books. Hopefully, you can fit it in soon.

Same, it has been a bit for me also. So I hope I do get to this one soon. Thanks for coming by!
DeleteI haven't read this one, but I have a lot of neglected non-fiction titles on my shelves, too. I want to read them, but they take me longer than fiction books, so they end up sitting unread for longer. It's great that you already know you like this author's work, though! That's really important, especially for non-fiction.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way. I love non-fiction, and that is my main kind of reading. Fiction I can breeze through in a couple hours. But I love non-fiction and history especially so much, I really want to take my time and soak everything up. Hope you get to your non-fiction soon!
DeleteThis sounds interesting. I need to incorporate more non-fiction into my reading. I hope that you enjoy this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carole! I can maybe give you some recs if you tell me what you are interested in!
