ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by!
DeleteEnjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I already finished Margaret Moore and reviewed. I loved it so much. The Plot was decent, and I hope to get that review up sometime this week.
DeleteA more reasonable 6 for me this week - although I might just need to apologise again...... [grin]
ReplyDeleteFiction:
The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave
V2 by Robert Harris
Non-Fiction:
The Origins of the Irish by J P Mallory
King John - Treachery, Tyranny and the Road to Magna Carter by Marc Morris
The Shortest History of England by James Hawes
Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism And Other Arguments for Economic Independence by Kristen R Ghodsee
Oh, and my Looking Backwards - DNA Results post is up!! My planned visit to a local Fantasy Fair has been cancelled due to concerns about the heat. My friend especially suffers in high temperatures.
Lucky you, King John is already on my TBR! I did at the Mallory book though.
DeleteMaking the Monster looks so good!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy Harkup's books. She's the same author who wrote Death by Shakespeare that I reviewed recently. She's done a few of these type books, including the Arsenic one also listed, and one on Dracula that my library is purchasing so I will get that one soon too. I think you'd like these!
DeleteThat last one I keep seeing around. I should just give up and read all thrillers- that seems to be what I gravitate towards of late
ReplyDeleteI really liked it and if you have ever been a horror movie fan you will like it, too. You also HAVE to read I am Margaret Moore!!

I really need to remind my wife to try reading the Grady Hendrix I bought them for Christmas -- I think they're gonna love it, and then I have so many more book presents to give. XD Enjoy the new books! A is for Arsenic I loved a lot.
ReplyDeleteI liked Final Girl, just finished it a few minutes ago. Not sure that I will pick up any of Hendrix's other books, this premise spoke to me specifically because of my former love of horror movies. I liked it a lot. Have you read any of Harkup's others? The vampire one is on order at my library, I love these!
DeleteWow! These sound like interesting books! Great haul!

The ones I have read so far have been great, it was a good week!
DeleteI have seen a lot of reviews of The Final Girl Support Group, lots of love for it. Enjoy all your new books.
ReplyDeleteIt was really good, I read it pretty quickly. I have never read any of the author's other work, but I liked this one a lot!
