"Long before I was ushering hip-hop stars like Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, the Notorious B.I.G., and Mary J. Blige into the Tunnell, or surveying the undulating crowd of club kids from the balcony of Limelight, I was just a provincial boy from the little Canadian town of Cornwall, Ontario."

This book was such a wild ride. I can't even imagine, and to be in New York in that time period, getting all the big-name rappers before they were big. Wow. What a thing to witness.

Happy Reading!
