ReplyDeleteIt really is and that is what got my attention. Yet, it does not totally fit, and I can't tell you why because then I would be spoiling it! It's a really good book, the only thing I would down-grade it for is that the author is definitely British because these American teenagers were definitely not speaking American English. Even so, this was an excellent read and I am hoping to get the review done soon. I think you would like it.

DeleteI am always a little more wary of fiction on NetGalley, I don't know why. This one turned out to be really, really good. The only issue is the fact that the American teenagers (and parents) were definitely speaking very British-like. It would just throw me off every few paragraphs to have some wholly British saying pop up and I would giggle.
Nothing new in for me this week, either. I am doing well reading books I already have.

Deleteoh, THAT'S how it's supposed to work! i never did grasp the essentials... i get lots of books from Gutenberg and roy glashan's library but i didn't think they counted, haha..
