Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Happy Reading!
Sarah
I didn't get any books this week as I've just been rereading some of my favourites :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent way to spend the time! I wasn't intending to pick anything up this week but every now and then KU taps me on the shoulder and shoves a book onto my Kindle :)
DeleteThis sounds like a good one. Enjoy! Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely better than one of his other books that I read, thank you!
Deletei was walking down the street in Chihuahua; Mexicans kept talking to me, saying "Su presidente es muerte". since i was down there for a year, it didn't mean a lot to me until i'd returned home, then it hit me... i still think there was more to it than one shooter...
ReplyDeleteI've never heard that idea before, why do you think so?? I am incredibly interested in this.
DeleteI bet that will be interesting. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely better than other work I have read by the same author, and better than other books I have read on the subject so far, thank you!
DeleteThis looks interesting! I hope you'll enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn! I found it much better than the author's other work I have read, and better than other books on the subject as well.
DeleteI haven't heard of this one before. It looks like it could be interesting. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely interesting and terrifying. I can't imagine something more scary than something so innocent as walking across a quad on campus suddenly being completely obliterated by a madman with a gun.
DeleteI lost my free trial of KU back in September, and I've been debating whether or not I should get it back. It's so addicting having "free" books.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! Thanks for visiting Shell's Stories!
I am getting close to the end of my free trial again. I basically just use the free trials because when I was paying for it, I just was not able to find enough books of interest to me to justify it. So, use the free trial, cancel it at the end. Wait a few months, and I am eligible again.
DeleteAs expected nothing from me this week - but I *do* have a Mall trip in my near future..... [lol]
ReplyDeleteOh dear. I had better get to clearing out books on my TBR then that I am no longer interested in, because I have a feeling there will be an influx of new books coming my way lol!
DeleteLooks like an interesting book. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you Yvonne, you as well! Happy Reading!
DeleteTwo for me:
ReplyDeleteThe Searcher by Tana French.
Land of Big Numbers by Te-Ping Chen from The Nervous Breakdown.
Solid. I have yet to read Tana French but I know we have discussed her before. If I were to read one of her books, which do you think I should start with?
DeleteOooh that's definitely going to be a cool read! Have fun with it!

Thank you! It ended up being a really good read - much better than other things I have read by the same author. Thanks for stopping by, Happy New Year!
DeleteI hope you enjoy The Texas Tower Sniper
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was much better than the author's previous works. Happy Reading!
