As a Minnesota girl, I love this time of year. I love winter and snow and snow and winter and it is glorious. As a teacher, I also love snow days; we are on our third day in three weeks. Sadly, it is not so much due to actual snow, but ice and too-cold temps/wind chills.
What's the weather like in your part of the world right now? Here it is a good day to curl up with my baby girl and a few good books.
Happy Reading!
Sarah
45F, light winds, overcast, dry. Rain expected later.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the snow, if it means we get out of school another day! I don't think kids realize that teachers love snow days probably more than they do :)
DeleteWell, we had snow and ice last week. This week we're doing 70 degrees and thunderstorms.
ReplyDeleteGod love ya, Alabama..
Minnesota can be very similar, and Nebraska to some extent. Starting in April, sometimes March, the mornings will be so cold you need a sweatshirt (I don't wear coats, my blood is ice by default, being from MN) but in the afternoon you'll need the AC.
DeleteWe had heavy rain two nights ago which took the snow away but the forecasts for tonight are rains and winds. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteAww! It's always so sad for me when the snow goes away. I am a snow baby through and through - may have something to do with me being born in January :)
