Resist

This image was born eight years ago during trump's first term. The stakes are so much higher and everything feels so much more dangerous this time around. But this is what they want, to overwhelm us with a mad flurry of activity so we freeze because we don't know which fire to try to put out first. The information coming from the Alt National Park Service is terrifying. I highly recommend following them. I am still on Facebook for the time being, but they also have a BlueSky account I believe. And who knows how long Facebook will even let them operate.

    1. Absolutely. At this point I am only trusting their info, and they're posting regularly to their Facebook account.

    2. Well, we are all about to build a lot of character because this shit is EXHAUSTING, but his little toadies will NOT be successful.

    3. Yes!! When I commented on your blog last week, a TON of my comments must have gone to spam. Does Blogger not know us by now???

    4. I'm checking my spam filter a LOT more these days - especially when I see that you've posted like 2-3 comments... Because I KNOW its more like 10-15.... [lol]

    5. Lol, it's almost always 10-15. We've just been so busy since show choir season started in December, and Eleanor had her School of Rock performance last weekend, I don't get to comment as regularly as I used. So when I do, I'm commenting on at least two weeks' worth of your posts!

  3. I can only second what Kitten is saying. Remembering and reminding is the most important thing of all.

    1. It's exhausting but we will not let him and his stupid little toads win.

    2. Yep. They want us to be exhausted and overwhelmed, so we give up. Not going to happen.

    3. For sure. They have the internet to support them but so have we.

    4. Right now I am worried about rfk jr's plan to attack SSRIs. I need my Lexapro and so does Eleanor. These are not drugs that people can just quite cold turkey, and I am very worried about losing access.

    5. That is awful. And you won't be the only ones.

    6. It's insane to think this could actually happen. It's legit giving me a headache just thinking about it. So, I am going to distract myself with a book and hope that helps!

    7. Wow! Three books in one day?!?! I never manage that.

    8. Eleanor was at her father's house for the weekend. I always read and do blog stuff when she's gone to make the time go by faster. Plus, I'm sick so doing anything besides laying on the couch or in bed was not an option.

  4. And to think, we're only a couple weeks in...we better all buckle up

    1. Right? I feel like they're throwing a bunch of stuff at us at once so we get overwhelmed and don't know where to look first. But Alt National Parks Service is ON IT and keeping everyone informed and we will beat this.

    1. YES! So many lawsuits are already blocking some of the b.s. but we have to do more. The supreme court pretty much gave him immunity. He thinks he is untouchable...but he forgets his little toadies are not.

    1. Agreed! I joined BlueSky, are you there yet? Seeing how many federal employees every single day are refusing to resign, who are standing up and saying this isn't right, it gives me hope.

  7. I love Alt National Parks. It's the first account I followed when I joined Bluesky.

    1. YES!! Their account is one of the reasons I made the jump. I will extract myself from Twitter eventually, it just takes a while going through the accounts I follow, seeing who has also moved to BlueSky, and finding everyone again.

    1. YES!! Everything they post to Facebook they also post to BlueSky, which is a wonderful alternative to Twitter. I can't recommend them enough, to show the country what is really happening and what Musk is really up to. Knowing so many federal employees are refusing to resign, who are standing up to this clown and his car of mini clowns gives me hope.
