I am a little late to the party, but it is Pride Month!
Someone pointed out recently on a fantastic post that I can't find now that it's not enough for straight people to just be like "love is love". While the LGBTQIA+ community in general needs support and all deserve to safely live their authentic lives, specifically trans men and women are in grave danger. It is not enough to just love, but to actively confront hate, and protect our queer brothers and sisters.

ReplyDeleteI do SO enjoy when homophobes are uncomfortable!! They really don't like when they say something homophobic and I ask them what they meant by that. Then they stutter and stumble over their words trying to not seem homophobic. It's hilarious and awful.
