Fall Reading Goals

I've decided to go for it and see what I can accomplish this Fall. I don't think I will be a lot more ambitious now than I was in the summer because, while I have three months, there are limits on my time. I am back at school all day and Eleanor is busy with homework, school activities, music lessons/class, and flag football practices/games. All of that will take priority.

I made a lot of progress on the TBR over the summer, the results of which you can find HERE, so my focus this time around is solely going to be reviews.

1. Review at least ten ARCs

2. Review at least ten non-ARCs

Just keeping it simple, and if I crush it, AWESOME. If I barely scrape by, AWESOME. Either way, I will be purposefully focusing my attention on one aspect of blogging and see what happens.

Do you have any reading goals for fall?

Happy Reading!
Sarah

  1. ONE of the things I'm going to *try* to focus on (you know... along with the HUNDRED other things) is reading about the History that I actually lived through... So, post-1960... especially England/Britain.... with a focus on the North... and even more focus on Liverpool. Well, that and a hundred OTHER things..... [lol]

    1. I'd definitely be interested in those books! I don't think I am brave enough to do a living history project yet. It's exhausting enough living it right now and I don't want to relive it especially when there's actually no end in sight and we are just going to keep living in 'unprecedented' times.

    2. I remember a news person talking about the Pandemic. He looked into the camera and said: This is what "Living Through History" feels like. Books in that ballpark area might start landing early next year.

    1. Thank you!! I am getting to a few reviews after I respond to comments and make the rounds. I am excited for this one, since I made so much progress over the summer!

  3. I came here because I hadn't seen much of you lately. But I see that must have been my fault, or the one of my computer, don't know. Still, I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you.

    1. Maybe a combo of both - I was barely around all September. But I am making up for it now, getting reviews queued up and ready to go. I am ready to crush this goal!

    2. We all need a little break from time to time. But I am looking foward to your next reviews.

  4. Happy to see you still making some goals while balancing the rest of life. I tend to slow a bit in Fall too as it becomes my busy season at work.

    1. Yes!! Looking at my StoryGraph, there's a massive drop-off in reading after a gradual decline. Between school for both us, running from one activity to another (sometimes in the same evening), and just being exhauseted from other peoples' children...I am slowing down big time.
