I'm not familiar with any of these books but they seem like quite a treasure trove.

You can relax now... until I go into 'town' for my 2nd Covid shot.... [lol]
AAHH! The Last Gunfight! I hope you love it! I probably need to look at The Secret Life of Books at some point. I'm glad you're getting your second shot soon, but PLEASE do not wreck my TBR, lol
DeleteI'm pairing 'Last Gunfight' with another called 'Last Crusade'. I'm doing that a lot lately... 2+ books with similar titles or areas. Fun sometimes to smoosh things together like that... Couldn't help but dip into 'Secret Life'. It's REALLY good. Think I'll be reading that SOON. Have to see if my usual bookshop in 'town' is still in business. If he is I'll feel honour bound to help as as much as I can carry... [lol]
DeleteYes, that is a duty you must carry out with utmost speed - maybe bring a cart to carry away as much as you can? lol
DeleteI like that idea - is The Last Crusade about the Crusades, or something else?
Nope... Not the Crusades..... [grin]
DeleteWhat, then??
Delete.... and spoil the surprise?
DeleteWhen No One Is Watching- ooh I just went over to read the blurb and yes please. Where have they goneeeee?????
ReplyDeleteIt was a slow build but then BOOM! I loved it. I definitely think you would like it too. Just stick with it, even when you feel like nothing is happening.
DeleteLooks like some good ones! I didn't get any books this week lol
ReplyDeleteI wish that were the case for me, I seriously can not stop! There's always one more book I need...lol
DeleteOh yay! You got When No One is Watching. I can't wait to see what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteIt was SO GOOD! I hope to post the review this weekend, but we all know how my big blog plans have gone lately...
DeleteThe Cost of Knowing was pretty good! Hope you enjoy it!

I could not put it down! I full on sobbed for the last part of the book, especially when the men of the family showed up at the end. I woke up the next morning STILL thinking about the book!
