Stacking the Shelves #262

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

    1. I think really, it is impossible to know anything about UFO science, but it is an interesting subject to think about.

  2. Erm... UFO's??? and shouldn't the 'Science' be in quotes...? [lol] You *do* know its all nonsense, right? [grin]

    1. I don't think we actually know anything about UFO science, but it is an interesting subject. The universe is too massive for there to not be life somewhere else, in some other galaxy or twelve or two hundred. But given the size of the universe, the liklihood of us ever meeting is just about zero.

You better not get any books I will want!

    2. UFO likelihood is definitely a distance/speed thing. Plus, it does seem *really* odd to me that they have the technology to cross interstellar space in a reasonable time (presumably) but are REALLY bad @ landing/parking.... They need to look into that! Does this mean that our visitors are actually teenagers out on joyrides in their parents spaceships??? Now THAT would make much more sense!

Just back from the Mall/Movies... I think I have some BAD news for you.... Oh, and in other bad news, I'll be visiting my fave Indie book shop next week. You might want to make sure you have a handy pair of big girl pants ready.... [grin]

    3. Ha, I have never thought about it like that - it's the kids and not the parents, lol.

  5. Great selections, Sarah! I'm eager to see what you think of The Clinic and you just reminded me that I have Living Like a Tudor in my TBR pile and I need to get to reading it!
