I am reviving this little feature after eight years. You might see a couple recycled from when I did this in 2016, but they were funny then and they are still funny now. Occasionally they will be more introspective or comforting. No matter what, they will be about reading and books.

ReplyDeleteYep, especially when I was in that extremely terrible teaching position a few years ago with terrible admins who were actively not supporting me and were awful, I read to escape and figured I was already exhausted every day anyway because it was such an emotional drain, might as well stay up and read.

ReplyDeleteSo jealous. I wish life was always like that for me. If someone would just say, "Here's a million dollars and some choclate, go read all you want", that would be amazing.
