Stacking the Shelves #336

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

I've added a section to indicate if a book is from my TBR. Maybe that will shame me into focusing on the TBR because so far nothing else has worked 🤣

    1. This one is very tempting. I put a hold on it at the library, but if it's too spy-ish then I get bored.

  3. A great looking haul.

Haha nothing is working for me except the 20 books of summer challenge. I have made a list of 10 TBR books to complete for it so fingers crossed I get 10 books off my TBR!

    Have a great weekend!

    1. I've seen quite a few people talk about that challenge! But I am sch a mood reader that if I select 20 books and then end up not wanting to read some, then I don't complete the challenge AND I don't get books of my TBR. And I am very competitive with myself, so you can see why I never get any removed, lol. BUT, putting them specifically on my STS in their own category has been helping at least, because then I have them in physical piles set apart also. Good luck to you!!

    1. I keep hearing about that challenge, but I am such a mood reader than I can't select books ahead of time. Good luck to you, we will defeat our TBRs...some day. maybe.

    1. I found the earlier trials really interesting and liked how the author approached them. She then discussed how the term 'witch hunt' has evolved and included later 'witch' trials that were less interesting than what I was looking for. Still, I found it to be an interesting read for the most part.
