I am really torn on this one too. I love A exactly for the same reason, it is cozy. But I am also quite tall (nearly 5'11), so after a while I would start getting leg cramps. I love the lamps in B, but I would put them on the same wall as the window, so the sides can be bookshelves instead.
Definitely agree on the back support! I feel awkward sitting up and reading, I love to lay down on some pillows. I am really torn between these two but I am tall, so A might get too cramped for me after a while.
Definitely B! A is cramped. Also, Harry Potter lives under the stairs in A and that would be distracting.

DeleteI'll go wih B. I actually think A is kinda cozy, I like the wood and the lamp, but B I would actually live in. Love it.

DeleteA looks like a more comfortable seat and I could put my back against the wall easier than trying to do that for back support in B!
