First Line Friday #134

Alex Mosher found himself standing in a graveyard.

A while back Eleanor and I read a book called Nightbooks, about this kid named Alex who loved to write scary stories. He found himself trapped in the apartment of a witch named Natacha and she demanded he write and then read her a scary story every night. So much more to it, but FANTASTIC book. The movie is great too even, we've watched it a million times at this point. You can imagine how excited we were to find that there would be a sequel and I was able to get it through NetGalley. We've loved this one just as much and highly recommend both!

Leave a comment and let me know what you think, and leave a link to your FLF so I can stop by to see what you've posted this week.

Happy Reading!
Sarah

  1. Sounds like a spooky '1001 Nights'.

"What could be more appropriate that a British Library Crime Classics anthology of short stories concerned with the world of books?" Murder by the Book - Mysteries for Bibliophiles edited by Martin Edwards.
