Essex Dogs is HEEEEEERRRRRRE!!!

 It's HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Essex Dogs has finally arrived from the UK and I am IN LOVE.

A while back, before the book was officially available for purchase, Dan did a Facebook Live where he was autographing several hundred copies of his first dip into historical fiction (it will be a trilogy).

I pre-ordered the book ages ago on Amazon, and it is not out here in the US until February 7th. After watching the Live, I decided I could not wait that long. OBVIOUSLY.

I ordered one of the 1,346 numbered, signed, limited first editions and it finally arrived today! I opened it to take a look, then promptly wrapped it back up where it will stay until Dan comes in February for the US leg of his book tour.

(FYI - 1346 was the year of the Battle of Crécy.)

I was nervous about the damage to the box. Shame on you, Royal Mail and USPS! This is a PRICELESS book!

Eeeeeeeeek!

So pretty I almost did not even open it.

*Sigh*

*Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh*

Now I just have to wait patiently for February, so he can personalize it for me.

I will be posting my review soon; I finished the ARC a bit ago that Dan sent me, but life has been hectic and I have not been able to post ANY reviews. But rest assured, this book is going to be the first one when I finally have a moment to breathe!

Happy Reading,
Sarah

I thought so too. Dan kept the last copy as his personally.
