Here are my year-long stats after four years of attempting to somehow restrain my TBR. My gains are not as massive as my first year, but the progress is steady and I am pretty proud of myself. I think 2023 is going to be another good year for whittling this list down.
1-1-22: I started the year with 2,526 books on my TBR...
...added ZERO books I couldn't resist*
...removed 96 books I not longer wanted to read...
...and DNF-ed 27 books I lost interest in...
...Plus I read a total of 304 books and an additional 35 chapter books with Eleanor (not enough came from my TBR but that will change in 2023!)
...On 12-31-22: I am ending the year with 2,340 books on my TBR.
That's a reduction of 186 books.
Not as big a reduction as in past years, but still progress.

Happy Reading and Happy New Year!
*A special sub-TBR list exists due to the fact that CK and I have overlapping reading interests. It fluctuates based on whether he likes the book or not, since that is a decent indicator as to whether or not I will as well.
