  1. I remember liking Adam Rutherford's book, if I remember rightly -- hope you enjoy! And the others too, of course. :D

    1. It was intriguing - though it made zero sense to me that the author chose to focus on Twilight instead of Buffy when discussing bad boy monsters. Edward was stupid and sparkly. Angel and Spike were ACTUALLY BAD.

    2. YES. Sparkly lolol. I don't know jack about Buffy but I do know Spike was a bad dude

    3. I have loved Buffy since I was 15 years old. It broke my heart when all the stuff came out about Joss Whedon, because Buffy was and remains so important to me. But I am taking a cue from Sarah Michelle Gellar, and how she said she will always be proud of Buffy, but does not want her own name associated with Whedon. I highly recommend the show, it is so phenomenal. Season 1 is a little rough sometimes, but seasons 2-5 and 7 are top notch. Season six sucks, and knowing what we all know about Whedon now, season six makes so much sense now. But I will always love her, even if I too want to forget Whedon exists.

    4. Yeah screw Whedon, but sometimes you just have to separate the art from the artist or some such blather. But Buffy is Gellar and everyone else too, not just that asshat

    5. 100% and that's how I explain it to everyone. They may have been Whedon's words, but without the incredible (mostly) cast, the words would've been NOTHING. They brought the characters to life. I will love Buffy forever.

  5. Ooohhhh, your library already has Jaime Jo's newest one!!! While I am tempted to go look now and see if mine has it, I won't. I have a few more books I need to focus on this month, LOL! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it though. Have a great week!

    1. LOL! You have more control than I do. I don't want to color your opinion in any way or have a set idea in your head before you read it, but it was not my favorite. It was a decent story, but I just wish there had been some more development for certain characters.

  6. All of these are new to me! I hope that you enjoy them. It has been a long time since I last went to the library to browse.

    1. We are at our library a couple times a week because I have no shelf-control. But I am trying to focus on my TBR and ARCs for at least the first half of 2024. Even so, I know we will still go to the library at least once a week. I highly recommend going to browse ASAP!
