Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.
I've added a section to indicate if a book is from my TBR. Maybe that will shame me into focusing on the TBR because so far nothing else has worked 🤣

Happy Reading!

I no longer purchase or acquire physical books. I read on Kindle which takes care of the shelving problem. That's a good thing because all of our home bookshelves are full.
ReplyDeleteI don't buy books at all unless it's something by Dan Jones. My TBR is on Goodreads. I have a five-shelf bookcase dedicated to those I have bought from Half Price books over the years but then I just sell them back when I am done.
DeleteAdded 'Infernal Machine' to the Wish List. That's pretty dead centre of my 'wheel-house'. Its published here in paperback next week so it might show up in my local bookshop for my Mall trip in May.
ReplyDeleteJust ONE non-fiction from me this week:
Crime Fiction - A Very Short Introduction by Richard Bradford
I'm looking forward to it. There's one I read in the last few years called The Day Wall Street Exploded by Beverly Gage. I only gave it two starts but now I don't remember why.
DeleteI am working through my physical TBR and virtual TBR (unowned books) by participating in challenges, so it keep me accountable (not like anyone is going to come after me if I don't do it, LOL), but I put in more effort that way!
ReplyDeleteMy TBR is on Goodreads and StoryGraph, though I do have a whole five-shelf bookcase of books waiting to be read. I just keep finding others that aren't on my TBR yet. It's a vicious cycle! lol
DeleteSo many great books. I've got The Nothing Man on my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI really liked it a lot. The ending was kind of rushed but it was still a good way to spend a couple hours.
DeleteThe Nothing Man has been on my TBR FOREVER! I read her COVID novel and liked it well enough, but for whatever reason, I haven't picked that one up just yet.
ReplyDeleteI really liked The Nothing Man a lot, though I did think the ending was kind of rushed. Even so, it was a good one. Her Covid book is my least favorite. I probably read it too soon, in 2021. Not far enough removed from the pandemic, probably. Run Time is my most favorite of all her books, but I also really liked Rewind, The Trap, and The Liar's Girl.
DeleteI need to explore more of her works, clearly!
