Tackling the TBR Week 15: April 15-April 21, 2019

Each week I will be keeping track of books that I have read from my TBR. I have a huge backlog of books and often end up reading new books that are not even on my list, instead of trying to whittle down the list that continues to balloon up on Goodreads. Chuckles had the idea first, and we are going to use this as a chance to encourage each other to get those books read instead of always grabbing new ones and thus never making a dent in the physical and digital stacks we already have. It will also give us a chance to take a good look at our lists and see if there are ones we are no longer interested in. We will be posting on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and the last day of the month.

Previous Week's TBR Total: 3,525

Books Added to TBR This Week: 0

Books Removed from TBR This Week: 0

Currently Reading: 12

Books Finished This Week: 10

Books DNF-ed This Week: 0

Duplicates Removed: 0

New TBR Total: 3,513

Is your TBR under control, or a hot mess like mine? Though, to be fair to myself and honor my progress, this list is not nearly as big a hot mess as before Chuckles and I started this adventure!

Happy Reading!

  1. 10 books? *sputter* Wow nice week!

    1. Right?! Eleanor was on spring break, so my mom came from MN to stay all week. I basically got to read and eat the entire time, the moment I got home from work. Not too shabby of a deal, seeing as how they got to hang out all week and have fun adventures around town without me!

  2. Only one book from the TBR read last week. GRRR! I had to read a long book I did not even like for a reading group. But all four books I plan to read this week are TBR titles!

    1. I hate when it is a book you can't DNF, that really is the worst feeling - especially when there are so many more waiting for their turn!

  3. Epic reading during the spring break! Fantastic! Although, I think I would go a bit doo-alley if I had over 3k books on my TBR - I get flustered as it is and I haven't made it into 3 figures! Lol!

    1. Right?! I've let this list spiral rapidly out of control for years and thanks to Chuckles, am finally starting to reign it in. It used to be much larger, over 6,000. So, progress!

Thanks for visiting my little book nook. I love talking books so leave a comment and let's chat!
