Tackling the TBR Week 33: Sept 1 - Sept 7, 2020

My TBR has been out of control for YEARS. Then in January of 2019 I started tracking weekly my true reading/acquiring habits, and voila! I have been able to keep on top of things a little bit better. I may never get below 1,000 books, but at least I won't be topping out over 5,000! When a book cover is linked, it goes to the review here on my blog.

I will be posting on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and the last day of the month. Feel free to join in if you'd like!

If a book is linked in the 'Books Read' section, you can click the cover to go to my review.

Not too bad for a book dragon who spent most of Labor Day Weekend working on school material for her students!

Any of these catch your eye? Have you already read any? Let me know!

Happy Reading!

  1. I'm surprised to see you DNFd You Should See Me in a Crown! I feel like everyone else has been raving about that one lately.

REALLY looking forward to my library hold for Clap When You Land!

    1. I could not get into Crown! The main character was so blah, and her "unique" friends were not at all interesting either. I tried to power through because I thought maybe there was something I was missing, but it was boring and I am glad I tossed it on the DNF pile. If you read it let me know what you think!

Clap When You Land was so good. I could not put it down. Very powrful!

  2. Amma Comnenus was a powerful and commanding figure... i read a novel earlier this year with her in it: Count Robert by Scott...

    1. I know so little about her family aside from what is related to readers in books abut the Crusades. She has quickly become one of new fave historical figures.

  3. Oh no! Why DNFd You Should See Me in a Crown? I'm still on the waiting list...should I even still be on it?

    1. I don't know, I know I am in the minority opinion on it but it was SO BORING. The main character was boring, her friends were boring; I tried to keep going because I know so many people loved it, but I had to toss it. Definitely stay in line for it, you might enjoy it more than I did!

  4. You'll have to do a review for Clap When You Land. I've had my eye on it, but I'm eager to see what some of my trusted book buddies think of it.
