Stacking the Shelves #139

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

    1. I am super excited to get it started - probably will still get to it this weekend. I love learning about the Vikings also. They're so much more complex than originally thought.

  2. Viking warrior women. Yes please. I've always liked the Valkyrie. No wonder the Norse invaded everyone though. Their myths were a mess! :)

    2. You read so fast! Since Covid, I haven't been able to read as much. I hope I can pick it up again ...

    3. I do a lot of reading when Eleanor has to go to her dad's house for a weekend. It is the only thing that makes the weekends go by fast so she can come back home again!

    4. I used to do a lot of reading during the day when hubby was at work. Now that he's home all the time, we try to do as much stuff together.

I can imagine how much you miss her over the weekends.

    5. So much! I hate when she has to be away from home, it is hard on both of us.

It's good that you can spend quality time together!

    6. That's how I see it, I get less reading time but we can be together all the time which is even better during these hard times with Corona regulations etc.

I can imagine how much you miss Eleanor. Big hugs.

    7. Yes, it is really hard when she is gone. Luckily she will be home in a few hours!

    1. I saw Dorothy's review of the book on her blog and hopped in the queue for it at the library. Sounds fascinating.
