Stacking the Shelves #187

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Library Treasures
NONE!

Two weeks in a row now I have not acquired any new books. I am really trying to focus on my TBR and what I have on my shelves and my Kindle. It won't last forever, but I am trying!

Happy Reading!
Sarah

  1. WOW.... I mean... WOW..... [checks if I'm actually awake.... wonders exactly how you DO that....]

Just ONE non-fiction this week, with one (late) in the post and one more on order. Hoping to do my planned shopping trip next week but the weather is looking a bit problematical. So...

    1. It is tough! But I have stayed away from the library and am really trying hard to focus on the books I already own. I am making some progress on my TBR finally, since I am going through my Kindle and deciding what I am still interested in. I am cheating a little though. If I see a book that I want to read I add it to a 'Maybe' list. I have told myself I can't look at the list except when adding a book to it, and I have to read at least three of my own books before getting one from that list. So, it's kind of a second TBR...

  3. Oh wow! Good for you. That is some strong will power... Mind to share your secret?

Enjoy reading through your TBR! That's a very worthy cause indeed.

    1. It's SO tough! If I find a book that I am interested in, I add it to a list - I guess you could call it a second TBR at this point, lol - and I have to read at least three of my own books before requesting a new book from the library. We'll see how this works out...

    1. It's so tough! But...progress. My TBR is really going to shape up, and I am hoping to get it under control by the end of 2022!
