I am reviving this little feature after eight years. You might see a couple recycled from when I did this in 2016, but they were funny then and they are still funny now. Occasionally they will be more introspective or comforting. No matter what, they will be about reading and books.

DeleteI always had this problem @ work. I liked to read for at least part of my lunch break. I did sit at my desk but either my book was sitting next to me on my desk or I had it in my hand. It hardly ever stopped people - who should've known better - from coming up to me and asking for stuff... [grinds teeth]
ReplyDeleteUgh. I would hate that. I will now have an office with a door I can lock during my lunch break, so no one will be bothering me this year. But let's be realistic, I am a teacher so I am always working, even through my lunch "break".
DeleteI have seen book covers that say something like "leave me alone". Not a bad idea if you get interrupted all the time.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fake cover is the one that says 'how to murder people who interrupt your reading' so if I ever got one, it would be that one.
