You might notice a little change here; Eleanor has decided to go by Nora now. One of the things I loved about the name from the start - besides the fact that Eleanor of Aquitaine was a badass queen - is that it is versatile; my girl could choose what she wanted to be called, whether it was Eleanor, Elle, Ellie, Nor, or Nora.
Each month Nora and I share the chapter books we read either together or that she's read on her own. I love that she is exploring new genres and finding new authors to love.

Umm how is Miss Nora old enough to be reading Twilight and John Green? Surely we haven't grown as old as I fear I have hahaha. I love that you've passed on your love of reading to her, and I love it even more that she's old enough for you to start sharing some "classics" with her.
ReplyDeleteriiiiiiight?! Like, she's going to be TWELVE in July. No lie, I miss Elepehant and Piggie, the Pigeon, Olivia, and the Five Little Monkeys. She picked up Pride and Prejudice the other day at the book store, and has discovered Sherlock Holmes because of our love for the Enola series.
