    1. I'm just amazed that he had the time to father a child, or could find a woman he liked enough to have one with...! [grin]

    2. Greg - The Sherlock one was a fun read and didn't take long. She's definitely her father's daughter, lol. I've never read Scottoline either but it was a NetGalley find in a thrillers/mysteries email I got the other day, so I am giving it a try.

    3. CK - She is the daughter of Sherlock and Irene Adler, basically a one-night fling. It's an interesting series. Watson is the only one left of that generation, everyone else is now the "children of" - even Toby, who is accurately named Toby Two. Eleanor found it for me at the library and we love the Enola Holmes series so much, she thought I would like this one too.

    4. I wondered who Irene Adler was when I read a Colleen Gleason book a few years ago (the gleason series was YA about Holmes' daughter working with Bram stoker's daughter- I think?- it's been a while) but I don't know the Sherlock Holmes mythos so I didn't know who Adler was..

    5. Adler is the only woman to ever outwit Sherlock, though she was not a villain. I am VERY intrigued by this YA series, I bet Eleanor would like it also.

    6. Now that I've (kinda recently) finished re-reading the original Holmes books, its about time I read some of the associated others.... Predictably I already have a pile to start working through... [grin]
