Good. I see you finally got some of the books you had on order!
ReplyDeleteJust four from me - 2 of each - but you're safe again this week.
Fiction:
The Cruiser by Warren Tute
No Human Enemy by John Gardner
Non-Fiction:
The Blues - A Very Short Introduction by Elijah Wald
Germany 1945 - From War to Peace by Richard Bessel
It took forever, but yes finally! I just finished The Broken Girls this morning and I LOVED IT. Now I am even more impatient for The Sun Down Motel (same author), the book that started this library binge to begin with!
DeleteI will be interested to know your thoughts on Germany 1945.
Only one for me this week. If the library doesn't open soon, I may have to buy some more books!
ReplyDeleteThe Good Family Fitzgerald by Joseph Di Prisco came in from my Nervous Breakdown Book Club subscription.
Ours are now offering curbside pick-up at certain locations - our library system is big, I think there are 16 branches? Maybe yours will do that too?
DeleteI am hoping for that!
DeleteI know ours has limited how many can be checked out at a time, obviously they can't haul 40 books at a time out for people like me. But something is better than nothing. Even so, I have stayed away from libraries even so far.
DeleteI've been wanting to read Broken Girls, too. Yay for it being at your library.
ReplyDeleteI just finished it today and it was so good. The stories came together in such a morbid and lovely way. I am still just thinking about it, definitely in book hangover mode right now!
DeleteOoh The Broken Girls! I just ordered Good Girls Guide To Murder. We'll see how it is...
ReplyDeleteIT IS TERRIBLE! I HOPE YOU GOT IT FOR $1! Or less. I finished The Broken Girls today and loved it. LOVED T!!
DeleteI'm so glad you were able to read The Broken Girls! One of my all time favorites!
ReplyDeleteIT IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! If you do not own it, it was just $1.99 on Amazon yesterday. I went looking to see how much Sun Down was, because I am getting impatient.
DeleteThe Broken Girls sounds amazing :)
ReplyDeleteBeena @ Beena Khan
It was FANTASTIC! Yesterday it was on sale on Amazon for $1.99. Definitely worth that price!
DeleteI still need to read The Broken Girls. I really enjoyed The Sun Down Motel so I think I will have a lot of luck with it. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good!! Ethan recommended it to me while I am waiting for Sun Down. I loved it so much, I am now worried that Sun Down won't measure up! It is so good, so so so so good.
