Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

I am a simple girl, really. Give me Dan Jones (literally, please), Karen McManus, some history, and I'm good!

    1. I already pre-ordered it! Since I have all her others in hard cover, I snagged this one too.

He wrote the text for Marina Amaral's colorized photos from conflicts between 1914-1945. Her photos are absolutely stunning.

    1. He is my BFF! Okay, just kidding, but I wish we were. I met him a couple years ago on his Templars book tour and he stuck around and chatted with me afterwards about Eleanor of Aquitaine. I'd harassed him on Facebook and Twitter for months leading up to the event, so when he walked in and saw me and my friend Roxy in the front row he winked and smiled and I DIED! He's pretty cool.
